'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane cools on Premier League comeback

Kane achieves his 100th goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has revealed that his desire in returning to the Premier League has faded and he is open to explore a new deal with Bayern Munich.

The star striker is currently midway through the four-year deal he signed when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for £86.4m in the offseason of 2023.

The experienced forward has accumulated an remarkable 103 goals in 106 games for the German team, playing a key role in them secure the 2024-25 Bundesliga crown - which marked the maiden major achievement of his illustrious career.

Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has previously mentioned that he would like to see Kane return to England, where he lacks 48 goals to break Alan Shearer's record Premier League scoring feat of 260.

However, the England leader has now clarified that he is no longer as enthusiastic about going back home as he earlier was, and would definitely contemplate lengthening his tenure in Bavaria.

"In terms of remaining longer, I could absolutely see that," he stated.

"I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to arise I would be open to talk and have an straightforward conversation.

"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so progresses and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a superb moment and I am not considering about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had inquired me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has decreased a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have learned in my career is that different options and different moments happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am fully all in with Bayern."

Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the all-time top marksman for both Tottenham and England and not long ago became the quickest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five competitions, attaining the achievement in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a trophy had eluded him until he won the German title last season.

Kane reveals that he was not sure how he would feel after breaking his trophy wait, but now thinks it has made him motivated for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.

"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've proven that this year.

"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I driven myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
